Job summary

SitterTree is seeking a Customer Support Specialist for weekend work (Saturdays 8 AM–5 PM EST and Sundays 7:30 AM–4:30 PM EST). Start date is January 4, 2027. The role delivers timely, professional support via phone, email, and text, handling inquiries, refunds, and payments to ensure a positive user experience.

The candidate will diagnose issues, conduct onboarding calls, and document all interactions while maintaining high service standards and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work ALL/MOST weekend days (Saturdays and Sundays)
• Must be available to start on or after January 4, 2027
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years in customer service or related role
• Experience handling inquiries, resolving complaints, processing requests, and maintaining records
• Experience communicating with customers via phone, email, and other electronic channels
• Working knowledge of Google tools (Gmail, Drive, Voice)
• Strong customer service principles and professional communication
• Spanish language skills preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Respond to emails, texts, and calls promptly and resolve issues
• Diagnose user issues and escalate when needed
• Conduct introductory calls with new users
• Address payment failures and disputes
• Process refunds and collect required documentation
• Escalate technical issues to the team lead or product team
• Review user profiles against required criteria
• Monitor fraud alerts and take appropriate action
• Document all customer interactions and feedback
• Solicit reviews from users via Google and app reviews
• Encourage users to book candidates via email/text
• Manage and cancel job postings when users are unresponsive
