Job summary

CTDI is seeking a Production Supervisor in Richmond, VA to coordinate production activities, drive targets, and maintain quality standards. The role oversees shift operations and ensures a safe, efficient workflow.

Weekend shift Thursday–Sunday, 11:00AM–9:30PM, with responsibilities spanning task scheduling, KPI attainment, and cross-functional communication. This position emphasizes hands-on leadership, P&L awareness, and a commitment to meeting customer SLAs while fostering a positive,

Qualifications

1+ year of leadership experience in materials or distribution environments.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Supervises workers operating production machinery, assembly, quality control, or packaging for shipment.
Schedule and assign tasks, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
Meet or exceed daily KPIs with accurate reporting that surpasses customer expectations.
Lead shift transitions with clear, concise information for the next shift.
Provide first-level support for escalated issues during the shift.
Maintain production quality by monitoring performance metrics.
Communicate with management and customers to meet SLAs and resolve issues promptly.
Support employee relations and maintain a positive work environment.
Assist in P&L forecasting, labor planning, and scheduling.
Prepare daily performance feedback and reporting.
