Job summary

CTDI is seeking a Production Supervisor in Richmond, VA to coordinate and direct production workers, ensure target achievement, and uphold quality standards. The role covers weekend shifts (Thu-Sun, 11:00AM-9:30PM) with emphasis on meeting KPIs, safe operations, and efficient handoffs between shifts.

The candidate will lead task assignments, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to P&L planning while maintaining strong communication with management and customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of leadership experience in a materials/distribution environment.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer-facing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises production workers and coordinates daily tasks.
• Schedules tasks, troubleshoots issues, and implements efficiency improvements.
• Meets daily KPIs and prepares accurate performance reports.
• Leads shift transitions with clear briefings for the next team.
• Provides first-level support for escalated issues during shifts.
• Monitors quality and ensures safety compliance.
• Supports P&L forecasting and labor planning.
• Maintains inventory levels to meet demand and staffing needs.
