Job summary

CTDI is seeking a Production Supervisor in Richmond, VA to coordinate and lead production teams on 1st shift (5:00AM - 3:30PM, Sunday - Thursday). You will ensure targets are met, quality standards are upheld, and P&L considerations are integrated into daily operations.

This role emphasizes safety, performance metrics, and customer SLA adherence. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of leadership experience in a distribution/manufacturing setting, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• 1+ years of leadership experience in materials or distribution environment preferred.
• Capable problem-solving and decision-making with focus on continuous improvement.
• Detail-oriented and organized with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities; good verbal and written communication.
• Capacity to engage with customers professionally.

Responsibilities

• Supervises workers operating production machinery, assembly, quality control, or packaging.
• Schedules and assigns tasks; troubleshoots issues; implements improvements for efficiency.
• Meets or exceeds daily KPIs with accurate reporting for customer expectations.
• Delivers clear information during shift transitions; prepares next shift for success.
• Provides first level of support for escalated issues during shifts.
• Maintains production quality by monitoring performance metrics.
• Communicates with management and customers to meet SLAs and resolve issues.
• Participates in employee relations and builds a positive work environment.
• Assists in P&L forecasting, labor planning, and scheduling.
