Job summary

Syfan Logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team in Gainesville, Georgia. You will coordinate with carriers and customers to ensure on-time service for all shipments, while building strong relationships and providing outstanding service.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with proficiency in MS Office and our TMS. The position supports a fast-paced environment and team collaboration within a professional office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and TMS systems.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch carriers by phone and computer in an efficient and professional manner.
• Manage load information including pick-up and delivery times using logistics software.
• Track and communicate the movements of drivers to shippers and receivers.
• Direct and resolve inbound calls from drivers and carriers to obtain status updates.
• Update Carrier Sales and Customer Sales Reps of delays or issues.
• Validate all load data prior to delivery and address discrepancies as needed.
• Document communications with carriers and customers in the TMS logs.
• Identify load issues proactively and implement team solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
