Job summary

Syfan Logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Gainesville, GA to support the logistics operations team in communicating with carriers and customers to ensure on-time service for all shipments.

You will maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers and utilize the company's transportation management system to track loads and resolve issues promptly. A high level of service, accuracy, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and transportation management systems.
• Ability to prioritize, adapt to change, and work in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches carriers by phone and computer in an efficient and professional manner.
• Manages load information including pick-up and delivery times for all shipments using logistics management software.
• Tracks and communicates the movements of drivers to shippers and receivers in accordance with established procedures and load specific information.
• Directs and resolves inbound calls from drivers and carriers to obtain accurate status and location updates to ensure on-time delivery.
• Updates Carrier Sales and Customer Sales Reps of any shipment delays or issues when required.
• Validates all load data prior to delivery and addresses product discrepancies requesting documentation as needed.
• Documents the required details of all communications with carriers and customers in the TMS logs.
• Proactively identifies load issues and works with team to implement solutions.
• Performs other essential duties as assigned by management.
