Job summary

Syfan Logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join the operations team. You will communicate with carriers and customers to guarantee on-time service for shipments and maintain strong relationships.

You will use the company’s transportation management system, coordinate loads, track driver movements, and resolve issues to keep deliveries on schedule.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for advancement.
• Experience in logistics or transportation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches carriers by phone and computer.
• Manages load information with pickup and delivery times.
• Tracks and communicates driver movements to shippers and receivers.
• Updates on shipment delays or issues.
• Documents communications in the TMS logs.
• Identifies load issues and helps implement solutions.
• Performs other duties to support operations.
