Job summary

Hogan Transportation is seeking a Fleet Manager to provide operational leadership for drivers assigned to a customer account. You will ensure on-time deliveries, manage payroll, and coach drivers to meet client expectations while following Hogan policies.

The role requires strong people management in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include hiring input, performance reviews, scheduling, safety training, and route optimization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in transportation/trucking industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manages drivers’ activities to meet client expectations and Hogan policies.
• Identifies and addresses driver performance issues through coaching and discipline.
• Interviews prospective drivers and makes recommendations on hiring decisions.
• Conducts 30- and 60-day driver performance reviews.
• Coaches and trains drivers on customer service, safety, and company practices.
• Coordinates services to maximize profits and meet client needs.
