Job summary

Hogan Transportation is seeking a Fleet Manager to provide operational leadership for drivers on a customer account, ensuring safe and timely deliveries and high-quality service. You will drive alignment with client expectations and use independent discretion to resolve employee issues.

You will coach, supervise, and evaluate drivers, coordinate schedules, monitor performance, and implement efficient routing while maintaining safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 2–5 years experience in the transportation/trucking industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manages drivers activities and ensures drivers meet Hogan expectations and policies.
• Conducts driver 30 and 60 day performance reviews.
• Coaches, trains, and reinforces drivers on customer satisfaction, Hogan policies, safety.
• Coordinates services provided to customers including driver and customer schedules to maximize profits.
• Monitors drivers performance and activities and prepares daily run schedules.
• Advises drivers of traffic problems and creates contingency plans to meet client needs.
