Job summary

Hogan Transportation is seeking a Fleet Manager to provide operational leadership and support to drivers assigned to a customer or customer account. The Fleet Manager is a liaison with the customer ensuring high quality customer service and support.

Ensures safe and timely deliveries. Is responsible for enhancing the overall customer service and support by managing drivers to ensure the client’s needs and expectations are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in transportation/trucking industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manages drivers’ activities and ensures adherence to Hogan policies and client needs.
• Interviews prospective drivers and makes hiring recommendations.
• Conducts driver 30- and 60-day performance reviews.
• Coaches and trains drivers on customer service, safety and Hogan practices.
• Schedules drivers and coordinates services to maximize profits.
• Monitors performance and ensures on-time pickups and deliveries.
