Job summary

Hogan Transportation is seeking a Fleet Manager to lead driver operations and ensure safe, timely deliveries for a client account. You will coach drivers, manage performance reviews, and optimize schedules to meet customer expectations while maintaining Hogan standards.

The role requires strong experience in transportation, supervisory skills, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, Associates degree preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in the transportation/trucking industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manages drivers’ activities to meet client expectations and Hogan policies.
• Addresses driver performance issues through coaching and discipline when needed.
• Interviews prospective drivers and makes hiring recommendations.
• Conducts 30- and 60-day performance reviews for drivers.
• Coaches and trains drivers on customer service, safety, and Hogan practices.
• Coordinates services to optimize schedules and profitability for customers.
• Directs drivers to locations per requests and needs.
• Monitors driver performance and daily activities.
• Prepares and monitors daily run schedules.
