Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a Dispatcher to join its fast-paced team in New York. You will handle a high volume of incoming calls, coordinate with drivers, and respond to emails while solving problems throughout the day to keep routes flowing smoothly.

Responsibilities include monitoring driver routes, relaying instructions, resolving customer concerns, monitoring traffic flow, and logging incidents. Strong organizational skills and MS Office proficiency are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in dispatch, call center, customer service or hospitality.
• Extremely detail-oriented and well organized.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Able to manage multiple programs with many open tabs simultaneously.
• Provide quick real-time responses to requests.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Professional and energetic demeanor in a fast-paced setting.
• TMS experience preferred but not required.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Bilingual abilities preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor drivers throughout their routes.
• Communicate instructions to drivers in the field.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns.
• Monitor traffic flow and send alerts as needed.
• Record incidents for vendor follow-up.
• Support Lost and Found processes.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety rules, environmental policies and regulations.
• Additional duties may apply.
