Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Coating Assistant to set up and operate coating machines, applying adhesive to release liners and substrates, including wet and dry ends. You will manage process prep, data entry, inventory checks, and housekeeping to maintain product quality.

Shifts are Friday through Sunday, 6:00am–6:00pm. Requirements include a high school diploma, fluent English, basic math, mechanical aptitude, and good data-entry and reading skills.

Qualifications

• Fluent English both verbal and written.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to accurately use measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate coating machines (wet and dry ends).
• Prepare raw materials and ensure inventory accuracy for each job.
• Enter data into the computer system and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Assist with changeovers, cleaning, and maintenance to support quality and efficiency.
• Adhere to ISO procedures and participate in continuous improvement.
