Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Coating Operator to set up and operate coating machines, applying adhesive to various liners and substrates. You will manage wet and dry ends of the machine, maintain a clean room appearance, and ensure safety and quality during each run.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, data entry for inventory, and performing routine maintenance. The role requires strong attention to detail, English fluency, and ability to work 12-hour shifts in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED, fluency in English, basic math and reading skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to accurately use measuring devices.
• Good computer skills for data entry.

Responsibilities

• Set up coating machine and apply specified adhesive to release liners and substrates.
• Prepare raw materials (adhesives, solvents, additives, liners) for coating process.
• Move and position materials using material handling equipment; follow safe lifting practices.
• Enter data into computer system and ensure inventory accuracy for each job.
• Maintain machine function, perform changeovers, cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Train new operators and assistants in responsibilities and safety procedures.
