Job summary

Stantec seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead water projects in the Southwest region. You will coordinate internal staff and external partners to deliver scope, budget, and schedule on multiple projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project management, an engineering background, and EIT with PE or PMP pursued within 2 years. This role emphasizes collaboration, risk management, and delivering high-quality results for communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 1 year in managing projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related technical field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) required; Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred; PM certification (PMP) preferred within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver water project solutions for clients.
• Develop and manage scope, budget, and schedule across multiple projects.
• Establish objectives, procedures, and performance standards for proposals through construction.
• Identify resources and manage contracts, costs, and schedules to stay on track.
• Support proposal pricing, cost proposals, and risk reviews for winning bids.
• Mentor and train future leaders and promote collaboration across geographies.
