Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water/Wastewater Sr. Project Manager in the United States to lead planning and engineering design for water/wastewater infrastructure. You will manage a multidisciplinary team, drive business development, and collaborate with clients and regulators to deliver large, complex projects.

The role requires 15+ years in PM for water/wastewater, a PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months), and a PMP is a plus. Travel between offices and sites is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
Minimum 15 years in project management for water/wastewater.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months.
PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead a design team of professionals and technicians.
Mentor staff and build high‑performing project teams.
Develop proposals and manage client relationships to win work.
Oversee scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
Perform complex engineering design tasks across water/wastewater projects.
Coordinate with multiple disciplines and prepare reports.
Ensure QA/QC and regulatory compliance.
