Job summary

Stantec seeks a Water/Wastewater Sr. Project Manager to lead planning and engineering design for water/wastewater infrastructure.

You will collaborate across disciplines and guide project teams to deliver complex projects, while building strong client relationships and contributing to business development. The role requires leadership experience, PE licensure (or ability to obtain within 6 months), and a track record of managing large water/wastewater programs across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience in water/wastewater.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• PMI-PMP is a plus.
• Travel to other offices and project sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of design professionals and technicians.
• Mentor staff and develop high-performing project teams.
• Develop proposals and manage client relationships; participate in business line teams.
• Coordinate scope, budgets, staffing and schedules for projects.
• Perform complex engineering design tasks for water/wastewater projects.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines (stress/structural, instrumentation & controls, electrical).
• Develop project management plans and ensure budget and schedule adherence.
• Present to clients, regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
