Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water/Wastewater Sr. Project Manager to lead planning and engineering design on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will manage a diverse design team, mentor staff, and drive client relationships to grow project wins.

The role requires a PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months), 15+ years in PM for water/wastewater, and willingness to travel to project sites and offices. A PMP is a plus as you partner with multiple business lines across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 15+ years of project management experience in water/wastewater.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• PMP is a plus.
• Travel to project sites/offices may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians.
• Mentor staff and develop high-performing project teams.
• Lead business development and client relationship efforts to win projects.
• Prepare scope of work, estimates and proposals with cross‑discipline input.
• Coordinate with multiple business lines to develop opportunities.
• Ensure quality reviews and adherence to budgets/schedules.
• Assist senior engineers with project scope, budget and staffing.
• Perform engineering design tasks and prepare technical reports and drawings.
