Veolia North America is seeking an Operator I to operate and maintain sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment in a refinery/industrial facility to purify water to meet customer specifications.

Starting pay is $24.50/hour. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, ability to read, write and comprehend English, and willingness to work in a team with occasional 24-hour on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and comprehend English for instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to new responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of process control software.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain sludge and dewatering treatment equipment to purify water.
• Learn and independently operate pumps, centrifuges, generators, valves and related devices.
• Be available for rotational 24-hour emergency on-call if required.
