Job summary

Veolia North America is the leading environmental services provider for water, waste and energy management in North America, with over 10,000 employees across 350 locations. The Operator performs and maintains sludge and dewatering systems in a refinery/industrial facility to ensure water purity per customer specs, with on-site shifts and safety emphasis.

Education requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and preferred related experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English (operational, process, safety and quality instructions).
• Must have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment.
• Demonstrate ability to learn and independently operate pumps, engines, centrifuge and related equipment.
• Work in a team environment and be willing to take on additional responsibilities.
• Use computer programs for process control.
