Job summary

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks a Technical Sales Representative to join its leading sales team in Chicago, IL. You will drive revenue and profit growth by executing system assurance programs and building relationships with existing customers through a consultative approach.

You will develop sales plans, understand business needs, and communicate technical solutions to plant executives, aiming to expand Nalco Water's footprint in institutional accounts and deliver long-term value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Technical sales or field sales experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or life sciences preferred.
• Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OR operations, wet end chemistry, or pulp mill operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate and execute sales plans in existing accounts to meet profit goals.
• Understand customer needs and propose improvement plans to grow sales.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders at customer sites.
• Provide technical support and resolve customer challenges.
• Analyze systems, interpret data, and provide written recommendations.
• Sell Nalco Water innovations to promote long-term relationships.
