Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative in the San Jose, CA area. You will drive revenue and profit growth by executing strategic plans with existing customers and competitively held accounts, while delivering technical support and data-driven improvement recommendations.

You will build relationships with plant and facility executives, promote Nalco Water innovations, and work with a dedicated service team to meet business needs and expand long-term

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Technical or field sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.
• Preferred: engineering degree or life sciences in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and in assigned accounts to meet profit goals.
• Understand customer needs and propose improvement and innovation plans to maintain and grow sales.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers, including plant/facility executives.
• Provide technical support to customers and resolve challenges; escalate as required.
• Analyze systems, interpret data, and provide written recommendations to optimize customer operations.
• Promote Nalco Water innovations and technology to build long-term partnerships.
