Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Project Engineer in North Carolina to support the design and construction phases of municipal stormwater capital projects, stream and wetland restoration, and watershed studies.

The role centers on hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, stormwater system design, and restoration design for resilient infrastructure. You will collaborate with project managers and clients across agencies, develop plans, and help deliver sustainable solutions within a

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
  • 5–10 years of progressive civil engineering experience including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Performs detailed design computations for water resources projects.
  • Performs preliminary layout, modeling and design.
  • Researches and drafts preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
  • Assists with plan reviews, stormwater facilities design, and plan/specs preparation.
  • Supports project design and preparation of cost and quantity estimates.
