Bolton & Menk, Inc. in North Carolina invites you to join the Water Resources team as a Project Engineer, PE.

You will support project managers in the design and construction phases of municipal stormwater capital improvements, stream and wetland restoration, dam rehabilitation and removal, and watershed studies. The role emphasizes technical water resources engineering, including hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater system design, restoration design, and plan development for resilient

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited college or university
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
5-10 years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling
Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8 and GIS

Responsibilities

Performs detailed design computations
Performs preliminary layout, modeling and design.
Researches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
Assists with design and preparation of plans, specifications and cost/quantity take-offs.
Assists with plan reviews, storm water pollution prevention plans, design of storm water facilities, storm water detention and retention design, water quality design, and storm water management planning
