Bolton & Menk, Inc. seeks a Water Resources Project Engineer, PE to join our growing Water Resources team.

Based in the Rock Hill area, you will support municipal stormwater projects, stream and wetland restorations, and watershed studies, focusing on hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and stormwater design. You will collaborate with project managers to advance design and construction phases, develop plans, specs, and cost estimates, and ensure resilience and sustainability in communities across the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• 5-10 years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8 and GIS

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed design computations
• Performs preliminary layout, modeling and design
• Researches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies
• Assists with project design and preparation of plans and specifications and cost and quantity take-off estimates
• Assists with plan reviews, storm water pollution prevention plans, design of storm water facilities, storm water detention and retention design, water quality design, and storm water management planning
