Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. seeks a Water Resources Project Engineer (PE) to join our Water Resources team in the Wilmington area.

The role centers on municipal stormwater capital projects, stream restoration, dam rehabilitation, and watershed studies, with emphasis on hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and design. The PE will support project managers through design and construction phases, develop plans and specifications, and contribute to resilient infrastructure and sustainable communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.
• 5-10 years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed design computations.
• Performs preliminary layout, modeling and design.
• Researches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Assists with project design and preparation of plans and specifications and prepare cost and quantity take-off estimates.
• Assists with plan reviews, storm water pollution prevention plans, design of storm water facilities, storm water detention and retention design, water quality design, and storm water management planning.
