Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. seeks a Water Resources Project Engineer, PE, to support municipal stormwater capital projects, stream and wetland restoration, dam rehab, and watershed studies.

The role emphasizes hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, stormwater design, and plan development for resilient, sustainable communities. You will collaborate with project managers across design and construction phases, develop relationships with clients and agencies, and contribute to innovative, resilient infrastructure

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.
  • 5–10 years of progressive civil engineering experience, including hydraulic & hydrologic modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Performs detailed design computations.
  • Performs preliminary layout, modeling and design.
  • Researches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
  • Assists with project design and preparation of plans and specifications and prepare cost and quantity take-off estimates.
  • Assists with plan reviews, storm water pollution prevention plans, design of storm water facilities, storm water detention and retention design, water quality design, and storm water management planning
