Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Project Engineer, PE to support the design and construction of municipal stormwater capital improvement projects, stream and wetland restoration, dam rehabilitation, and watershed studies.

The role emphasizes hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, stormwater system design, restoration design, and plan development for water-resilience initiatives. You will contribute to project delivery, build client relationships across agencies, and work with a team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
  • 5–10 years' progressive experience in civil engineering with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Performs detailed design computations.
  • Performs preliminary layout, modeling and design.
  • Researches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
  • Assists with project design and preparation of plans and specifications and prepares cost and quantity take-off estimates.
  • Assists with plan reviews, storm water pollution prevention plans, design of storm water facilities, storm water detention and retention design, water quality design, and storm water management planning.
