Job summary

HDR is seeking a WBG Professional Services Director to lead technical quality, project delivery excellence, and professional practice within the Water Business Group. This role aligns technical practice across the matrix organization, strengthens delivery capabilities, and fosters collaboration across disciplines and regions to improve client outcomes.

Qualifications

Maintains a professional engineering registration.
Experience leading professional services, program management, and delivery on large-scale programs.
Proven ability to mentor and develop diverse technical and service delivery teams.
Executive presence with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and monitor development and training of staff in technical, professional, and service delivery competencies.
Develop approaches to new technologies and digital delivery methods in support of initiatives.
Lead evaluation and adoption of professional services technologies to improve quality and risk management.
Coordinate staff training in policies and processes including risk management and QA/QC.
Lead continuous improvement, including standards, lessons learned, and delivery processes.
Support recruitment, staffing, and collaboration across groups to advance delivery strategies.
