Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Business Group Professional Services Director to provide executive leadership for technical quality, project delivery excellence, and professional practice. This role aligns technical practice across the matrix organization and drives continuous improvement and collaboration across regions.

The position reports to the WBG President and guides practices, risk management, and technology adoption to position HDR as a leader in global architecture and water infrastructure

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in managing technical teams and professional services.
• Experience leading program management, project delivery, construction management, or owner’s advisor services.
• Strong commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and HDR values.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor development and training of staff in technical, professional, and service delivery competencies.
• Coordinate delivery approaches, risk management, and QA/QC activities for strategic initiatives and complex programs.
• Monitor staff training on policies, processes, and technology to improve project outcomes.
• Support recruiting, staffing, and collaboration across HDR’s business groups.
