Job summary

SERVPRO Team SPG is seeking a Water Restoration/Mitigation Technician to respond to service calls, perform water/fire/mold mitigation, and coordinate workflow while following safety procedures.

You must have a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and be able to lift 50–100 pounds; IICRC certifications preferred. Willingness to travel locally and participate in weekend on-call rotations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.
• IICRC certifications and/or previous fire/water/mold restoration experience preferred.
• DocuSketch experience preferred.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, approved by our insurance company, required.
• Ability to travel locally or out of state when necessary.
• Must be able to work in person and travel to job sites; weekend and after-hours on-call rotation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete jobs according to SERVPRO processes per work order, performing production work and completing job documentation.
• Perform mitigation/restoration activities including water extraction, fire damage cleanup, setup of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment and document moisture readings and daily progress.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and supplies for each project.
• Prepare rooms and areas for work activities; set up staging areas and equipment for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards, jobsite findings, and equipment/tool requirements to supervisors.

TheMitigationTechniciancompleteswater,fire,smoke,andmoldmitigationjobsaccordingtoSERVPROprocessesperworkorder.TheTechnicianrespondstoservicecalls,setsupandestablishesefficientjobflow,coordinatestherequirementsforeachjob,completesjobdocumentation,andperformsproductionworkwhilefollowingandenforcingallsafetyproceduresonthejobsite.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES

• CompletejobsaccordingtoSERVPROprocessesperworkorder,performingproductionworkandcompletingjobdocumentation.
• Performandevaluatemitigation/restorationactivitiesincludingwaterextraction,firedamagecleanup,set-upofspecialtyequipment,anddemolition.

POSITIONREQUIREMENTS
