Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking a Water Restoration/Mitigation Project Manager to oversee day-to-day mitigation projects in Raleigh, NC. You will lead crews on site, ensure safety, and deliver work per SERVPRO quality standards.

You will coordinate equipment, moisture readings, and documentation while managing costs and communications with customers and adjusters. Travel to local sites and on-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Mitigation/restoration field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of drying equipment, moisture documentation, and mitigation processes.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• IICRC certifications and/or previous fire/water/mold restoration experience preferred.
• Effective written and oral communications skills.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and direct crews on the jobsite and provide day-to-day feedback.
• Valid driver's license, approved by our insurance company, required.
• Ability to travel locally or out-of-state when necessary.
• Must be able to work in person and travel to job sites; weekend/on-call rotation.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day execution of assigned mitigation projects from start to finish.
• Provide clear direction, guidance, and real-time feedback to crews and technicians on the jobsite.
• Establish efficient job flow, setups, staging and equipment, and coordinate the requirements for each job.
• Perform and oversee mitigation activities including water extraction, structural drying, and fire/mold remediation.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment and ensure accurate moisture readings and daily documentation.
• Ensure crews follow SERVPRO processes and complete all work per the work order and scope.
• Monitor production progress against the schedule and communicate status to the Operations/Production Manager and Job File Coordinator.
• Identify safety hazards, communicate them, and enforce all safety procedures on the jobsite.
• Review and ensure complete, accurate job file documentation, including photos and readings.
• Communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, and other stakeholders and answer questions as needed.
• Monitor and control job costs, labor time, and material usage on assigned projects.
• Ensure proper care, protection, and maintenance of equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Resolve day-to-day production issues quickly and escalate concerns to the Operations/Production Manager as needed.
• Ensure job sites are left clean and orderly at the end of each day and upon completion.
• Support the training and development of technicians by demonstrating best practices and sharing knowledge.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES
