Job summary

SERVPRO team SPG is a leader in remediation and restoration, providing 24/7 emergency service. The Contents Technician performs pack-out, cleaning, inventory, storage, and pack-back of customer belongings, ensuring careful handling and accurate documentation.

Primary responsibilities include completing jobs per the work order, communicating safety hazards, and maintaining efficient production with teammates on-site. Full-Time, on-call; salary $18-$22/hour.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma/GED required.
• Prior contents, cleaning, or restoration experience preferred.
• IICRC certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pack-out, inventory, cleaning, storage, and pack-back of belongings.
• Document customer belongings accurately and handle items carefully.
• Clean and restore contents using approved methods and equipment.
• Load and inventory tools and supplies for each project.
• Prepare rooms and sites for work activities and maintain safety.

JOBDESCRIPTION

TheContentsTechnicianperformsthepack-out,cleaning,inventory,storage,andpack-backofcustomerbelongings,ensuringcarefulhandling,accuratedocumentation,andqualityresults.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES

• CompletejobsaccordingtoSERVPROprocessesperworkorder,performingproductionworkandcompletingjobdocumentation.
• Performpack-out,inventory,cleaning,storage,andpack-backofcustomerbelongings.
• Carefullyhandle,label,photograph,anddocumentcustomercontentstopreventlossordamage.
• Cleanandrestorecontentsusingapprovedmethods,products,andspecialtyequipment.
• Load,inventory,andmaintainworkvehicleswithtools,equipment,andsuppliesforeachproject.
• Prepareroomsandareasforworkactivities;setupstagingareasandequipmentforeachproject.
• Effectivelycommunicatesafetyhazards,jobsitefindings,andequipment/toolrequirementstosupervisors.
• Communicatewithmanagementandothertechnicianstomaintainefficientproductionprocesses.
• Workasateamtoprovidequalityandefficientworkandperformproductionprocessesasdirected.
• Performend-of-dayandend-of-jobcleanupandbreakdown,leavingthejobsitecleanandorderly.
• Resolveproblemsquicklyastheyariseandprovidecourteous,professionalcustomerservice.
• Cleanandmaintainvehicles,equipment,warehouse,andofficeareas.
• Learnanddeveloprestoration/contentsskillstoelevatetheSERVPRObrandandgrowwithinthecompany.

POSITIONREQUIREMENTS

• Highschooldiploma/GEDrequired.
• Previouscontents,cleaning,orrestorationexperiencepreferred.
• IICRCcertificationsaplus.
• Strongattentiontodetailandabilitytofollowinstructions.
• Validdriver'slicensepreferred.
• Mustbeabletoworkinpersonandtraveltojobsitesasneeded.Availableforweekendandafter-hourson-callrotation.
• MustbeauthorizedtoworklawfullyintheUnitedStatesandabletosuccessfullycompleteabackgroundchecksubjecttoapplicablelaw.

PHYSICALDEMANDS

• Abilitytoregularlylift50poundsandliftupto100poundswithassistance.
• Repetitivepushing,pulling,lifting,andcarryingofobjectsthroughouttheday.
