Job summary

SERVPRO-TeamSPG seeks a Water Restoration/Mitigation Project Manager to supervise day-to-day mitigation projects on-site and direct crews toward safe, efficient completion per SERVPRO quality standards.

Reporting to the Mitigation Operations/Production Manager, you will guide technicians, coordinate equipment, monitor costs, and ensure accurate documentation and customer communications while travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Field mitigation/restoration leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of drying equipment, moisture documentation, and mitigation processes.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day mitigation project execution.
• Provide direction and real-time feedback to crews and technicians on the jobsite.
• Establish efficient job flow, staging equipment, and coordinate requirements for each job.
• Perform and oversee mitigation activities including water extraction, structural drying, and mold/fire remediation.
• Monitor safety, ensure compliance with SERVPRO processes, and manage job-file documentation.

TheWaterRestoration/MitigationProjectManageroverseestheday-to-dayexecutionofwater,fire,smoke,andmoldmitigationprojectsinthefield.ReportingtotheMitigationOperations/ProductionManager,thisisaleadroleresponsiblefordirectingcrewsonassignedjobs,ensuringworkisperformedsafely,efficiently,andtoSERVPROqualitystandards,andprovidinghands-onguidanceandfeedbacktotechnicians.Thispositionprovidesday-to-daydirectiontocrewsonthejobbutdoesnotcarryformalpersonnel-managementresponsibilitiessuchashiring,discipline,orperformancereviews.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES

• Overseetheday-to-dayexecutionofassignedmitigationprojectsfromstarttofinish.
• Providecleardirection,guidance,andreal-timefeedbacktocrewsandtechniciansonthejobsite.
• Establishefficientjobflow,setupstagingandequipment,andcoordinatetherequirementsforeachjob.
• Performandoverseemitigationactivitiesincludingwaterextraction,structuraldrying,andfire/moldremediation.
• Setupandmonitordryingequipmentandensureaccuratemoisturereadingsanddailydocumentation.
• EnsurecrewsfollowSERVPROprocessesandcompleteallworkpertheworkorderandscope.
• MonitorproductionprogressagainstthescheduleandcommunicatestatustotheOperations/ProductionManagerandJobFileCoordinator.
• Identifysafetyhazards,communicatethem,andenforceallsafetyproceduresonthejobsite.
• Reviewandensurecomplete,accuratejobfiledocumentation,includingphotosandrequiredreadings.
• Communicateprofessionallywithcustomers,adjusters,andotherstakeholdersandanswerquestionsasneeded.
• Monitorandcontroljobcosts,labortime,andmaterialusageonassignedprojects.
• Ensurepropercare,protection,andmaintenanceofequipment,tools,andvehicles.
• Resolveday-to-dayproductionissuesquicklyandescalateconcernstotheOperations/ProductionManagerasneeded.
• Ensurejobsitesareleftcleanandorderlyattheendofeachdayanduponcompletion.
• Supportthetraininganddevelopmentoftechniciansbydemonstratingbestpracticesandsharingknowledge.

POSITIONREQUIREMENTS

• Priormitigation/restorationfieldexperience,includingexperienceleadingordirectingacrew,preferred.
• Knowledgeofdryingequipment,moisturedocumentation,andmitigationprocesses.
• Highschooldiploma/GEDrequired.
• IICRCcertificationsand/orpreviousfire/water/moldpropertyrestorationexperiencepreferred.
• Effectivewrittenandoralcommunicationskills.
• Strongorganizational,time-management,andproblem-solvingskills.
• Abilitytoleadanddirectcrewsonthejobsiteandprovideconstructiveday-to-dayfeedback.
• Docusketchexperiencepreferred.
• Validdriver'slicense,approvedbyourinsurancecompany,required.
• Abilitytotravellocallyoroutofstatewhennecessary.
• Mustbeabletoworkinpersonandtraveltojobsitesasneeded.Availableforweekendandafter-hourson-callrotation.
• MustbeauthorizedtoworklawfullyintheUnitedStatesandabletosuccessfullycompleteabackgroundchecksubjecttoapplicablelaw.
