Job summary

SERVPRO-TeamSPG is seeking a Water Restoration/Mitigation Technician to respond to service calls, perform water, fire, smoke and mold mitigation per SERVPRO procedures, and complete job documentation. You will set up and monitor drying equipment, extract water, perform cleanup, load tools, and communicate site findings and safety needs to supervisors to keep production efficient.

Must have a high school diploma/GED, valid driver's license, and be willing to travel; IICRC certifications are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• IICRC certifications and/or experience in water restoration preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally or out-of-state.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete jobs according to SERVPRO processes and documentations.
• Perform mitigation/restoration activities including water extraction and cleanup.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment and moisture readings.
• Load, inventory and maintain vehicles with tools and supplies.
• Prepare rooms and areas for work activities and staging.
• Communicate safety hazards and site findings to supervisors.

JOBDESCRIPTION

TheMitigationTechniciancompleteswater,fire,smoke,andmoldmitigationjobsaccordingtoSERVPROprocessesperworkorder.TheTechnicianrespondstoservicecalls,setsupandestablishesefficientjobflow,coordinatestherequirementsforeachjob,completesjobdocumentation,andperformsproductionworkwhilefollowingandenforcingallsafetyproceduresonthejobsite.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES

• CompletejobsaccordingtoSERVPROprocessesperworkorder,performingproductionworkandcompletingjobdocumentation.
• Performandevaluatemitigation/restorationactivitiesincludingwaterextraction,firedamagecleanup,set-upofspecialtyequipment,anddemolition.
• Setupandmonitordryingequipmentanddocumentmoisturereadingsanddailyprogress.
• Load,inventory,andmaintainworkvehicleswithtools,equipment,andsuppliesforeachproject.
• Prepareroomsandareasforworkactivities;setupstagingareasandequipmentforeachproject.
• Effectivelycommunicatesafetyhazards,jobsitefindings,andequipment/toolrequirementstosupervisors.

POSITIONREQUIREMENTS

• Highschooldiploma/GEDrequired.
• Experienceincleaning/restorationpreferred.
• IICRCcertificationsand/orpreviousfire/water/moldpropertyrestorationexperiencepreferred.
• Docusketchexperiencepreferred.
• Effectivewrittenandoralcommunicationskills.
• Validdriver'slicense,approvedbyourinsurancecompany,required.
• Abilitytotravellocallyoroutofstatewhennecessary.
• Mustbeabletoworkinpersonandtraveltojobsitesasneeded.Availableforweekendandafter-hourson-callrotation.
