Job summary

SP Global DRT is seeking a Lead Technician to supervise field crews and drive efficient restoration projects. You will perform hands-on mitigation tasks, guide technicians on site, and ensure safety standards are met while coordinating between jobsites.

The role requires travel to local sites, a valid driver's license, and a background check. Expect an on-site, full-time schedule with weekend/on-call rotation and competitive hourly pay in the Georgia region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior fire/water/mold restoration experience preferred.
• IICRC certifications preferred.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurance approval required.
• Ability and willingness to travel locally and out of state.
• Ability to lead, direct, and provide constructive feedback to a crew on the jobsite.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Docusketch experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work in person and drive to job sites; weekend/on-call rotation.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete jobs according to SPGlobalDRT processes per work order, performing and guiding production work.
• Drive company vehicles to and between jobsites safely and as an essential function of this role.
• Transport crew, tools, equipment, and materials to jobsites and ensure vehicles are loaded and secured.
• Perform mitigation/restoration activities including water extraction, structural drying, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Establish efficient job flow, staging areas, and equipment; coordinate requirements for each job.
• Provide hands-on direction and real-time feedback to technicians on the jobsite.
• Ensure crews follow processes and complete all work per the work order and scope.
• Identify safety hazards, communicate them, and enforce all safety procedures on the jobsite.
• Complete and review accurate job file documentation, including photos and readings.
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and other technicians to maintain efficient production.
• End-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and breakdown, leaving the site clean and orderly.
• Resolve problems quickly as they arise and escalate concerns as needed.
• Protect, use, and maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles; perform routine vehicle checks.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES
