SERVPRO Team SPG is seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Crew Chief for water restoration in Cumming, GA. You will lead a mitigation crew, supervise water extraction, drying, demolition, and remediation tasks while delivering strong customer service.

You will coordinate with management, ensure safety, manage job files, and keep customers informed throughout each project’s lifecycle. This role requires in-person work and local travel, with weekend/on-call rotation, and a focus on quality and

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of water/fire mitigation experience.
• IICRC WRT or similar certification preferred.
• Knowledge of drying equipment and moisture documentation.
• Valid driver's license and strong customer service skills required.
• Must be able to work in person and travel to jobsites; weekends/on-call rotation.
• Background check may be required.

Mansioni

• Lead and direct the mitigation crew on water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation projects.
• Perform and supervise water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and remediation production work.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment and document moisture readings and daily progress.
• Manage and complete jobs according to SERVPRO processes per work order from start to finish.
• Respond to service calls, set up and establish efficient job flow, and coordinate requirements for each job.
• Communicate clear expectations to production technicians and supervise their activities and quality of work.
• Explain processes and answer customer questions, establishing relationships with commercial, insurance, and residential customers.
• Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain communication with internal parties, including Job File Coordinator and management.
• Identify safety hazards and establish control measures to protect occupants and workers.
• Follow and enforce all safety procedures on the jobsite.
• Resolve problems quickly as they arise and manage job file documentation.

JOBDESCRIPTION

TheWaterRestorationLeadTechnician/AssistantProjectManagerleadsamitigationcrewinwater,fire,andmoldremediationprojects,ensuringworkisperformedsafely,efficiently,andtoindustrystandardswhiledeliveringexcellentcustomerservice.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES

• Leadanddirectthemitigationcrewonwater,fire,smoke,andmoldremediationprojects.
• Performandsupervisewaterextraction,structuraldrying,demolition,andremediationproductionwork.
• Setupandmonitordryingequipmentandaccuratelydocumentmoisturereadingsanddailyprogress.

POSITIONREQUIREMENTS

• Highschooldiploma/GEDrequired.
• 1-3yearsofwater/firemitigationexperience.
