Job summary

BELFOR Holdings Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead residential and small commercial water losses, applying IICRC S500/S520 standards and using water extraction equipment.

You will supervise crews, document moisture, photos, and sketches, and ensure safety and timely project progression, including occasional night or weekend work as needed. This role requires prior BELFOR experience, the ability to train junior staff, and strong focus on customer service, safety, and

Qualifications

• IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard knowledge.
• IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard knowledge.
• Current IICRC WRT designation.
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Ability to use meters and IR camera; understand materials.
• Sketching, floor plans, moisture log and psychrometric log skills.
• Understanding of air mover calculation and LGR dehumidification.
• Experience with HydroSensor, Thermal Hygrometer, NavPro meters.
• Experience supervising small crews (up to 10).
• BELFOR vehicle policy eligibility.
• Strong work ethic and language fluency.

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in the use of the right PPE for the job.
• Review the daily requirements of projects, document progress and notify managers of progress and challenges encountered.
• Provide appropriate field documentation, photographic records, charts and sketches for various TPA projects.
• Perform daily inspections of vehicle safety and maintenance and keep these clean and in perfect conditions of use.
• Oblige to comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard the property of other people.
• Inform in a timely and accurate manner about time worked and equipment used.
• Attend operations and security training courses.
