Job summary

BELFOR is hiring an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead the water damage team for residential and small commercial losses, applying IICRC standards and equipment expertise. This role requires coordinating multiple projects, directing PPE use, and documenting moisture findings.

Ideal candidates have 12 months of Basic Level Water Damage experience with at least 25 projects and are prepared for on-site work, some night shifts, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• IICRC WRT designation current.
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage procedures.
• Ability to read plans and document moisture data.
• Experience supervising up to 10 crew members.

Responsibilities

• Lead water damage team for residential and small commercial losses.
• Direct use of PPE and equipment.
• Document progress with photos, charts, and sketches for projects.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintenance.
• Travel at night and on weekends as required.
• Attend safety and training sessions as needed.
