BELFOR in the United States is seeking an Intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead the water damage team on residential and small commercial losses. The role requires knowledge of IICRC S500/S520 standards, moisture mapping, and the use of extraction and drying equipment.

You will guide technicians, document progress, and ensure safety. The ideal candidate has at least 12 months in basic water damage work, documented involvement in 25 projects, and the ability to supervise up to 10 crew

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Must have working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Carry current IICRC WRT designation.
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Proper use of meters and IR camera and understanding materials affected.
• Ability to draw a sketch, read floor plan and complete moisture/logs.
• Understanding air mover calculations and LGR dehumidification charts.
• Mastery in HydroSensor, Thermal Hygrometer and NavPro meters.
• Experience with truck-mount extraction systems and maintenance.
• Supervising small crews (up to 10) on residential/commercial losses.
• Eligible to operate a BELFOR vehicle per policy.
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
• English language literacy and fluency.

Responsabilités

• Direct the water damage team and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Review daily project requirements and report progress to managers.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches for projects.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment for safety and readiness.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to protect customer property.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Meet deadlines under time constraints and travel as needed.
• Attend required BELFOR operations and security training.
