Job summary

BELFOR seeks an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead residential and small commercial water losses. You will apply IICRC S500/S520 standards, supervise crews, and manage moisture and drying operations on multiple projects, including night and weekend work.

The role requires 12 months of Basic Water Damage experience with BELFOR or equivalent, plus 25+ projects. Strong technical dry-out knowledge and equipment handling are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 12 months of Water Damage Basic experience with BELFOR or equivalent.
• Must have participated in at least 25 water damage projects.
• Knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standards and IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Current IICRC WRT designation.
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book and correct use of meters & IR camera.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from Supervisor and direct teams accordingly.
• Direct teams in using correct PPE for each job.
• Review daily project requirements, document progress and inform managers of issues.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches for TPA projects.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and keep equipment in good condition.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to protect customer properties.
