Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration in the United States is seeking an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead the water damage team on residential and small commercial losses. You will apply IICRC S500 and S520 standards and supervise equipment use.

You will document moisture, supervise crews, travel nights/weekends as needed, and mentor junior techs. Strong customer service, safety, and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 12 months of Basic Level Water Damage experience or BELFOR equivalent
• Direct participation in at least 25 water damage projects
• Strong knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard and S520 Mold Remediation Standard

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from Supervisor
• Direct teams in PPE usage
• Review daily project requirements and document progress
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches
• Inspect vehicle safety and maintenance daily
• Maintain attention to detail
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard property
• Demonstrate customer service principles
• Manage time to meet deadlines
• Travel nights and weekends as needed
• Report time worked and equipment used
• Attend BELFOR operations and security training
