Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead a residential and small commercial water damage team, applying IICRC standards and using specialized equipment to assess moisture, manage projects, and mentor junior technicians.

The role requires 12 months of basic water damage experience and participation in at least 25 projects. Travel, night and weekend work may be required; strong customer service and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 12 months of water damage Basic experience with BELFOR or equivalent
• Participated in at least 25 water damage projects
• Supervise small crews (up to 10 people) on residential/commercial losses
• Travel and work at night and on weekends as needed
• English language literacy and fluency required

Responsibilities

• Direct teams and ensure proper PPE on job sites
• Review daily project requirements and document progress
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts, and sketches
• Inspect vehicle safety and maintain equipment
• Comply with BELFOR standards to protect client property
• Demonstrate strong customer service and professional conduct
• Meet deadlines under time constraints
• Inform time worked and equipment usage promptly
• Attend BELFOR operations and safety trainings
