Job summary

BELFOR Environmental is seeking an Intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead the water damage team on residential and small commercial losses. You will apply IICRC standards, supervise equipment use, document moisture measurements, and mentor junior technicians to ensure high-quality restoration work.

The role requires 12 months of basic water damage experience and participation in at least 25 projects. You will collaborate with supervisors, maintain safety, and occasionally travel nights and

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Carry current IICRC WRT designation.
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Proper use of meters and IR camera; distinguish affected vs unaffected materials.
• Ability to read sketches, floor plans, and moisture logs.

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in the use of the right PPE for the job.
• Review daily project requirements and document progress for managers.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches for projects.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with BELFOR safety standards and property protection.
• Inform time worked and materials used in a timely manner.
• Attend BELFOR operations and security training courses.
