Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Water Damage Specialist at the intermediate level to lead the water damage team on residential and small commercial losses. The role requires knowledge of IICRC standards and hands-on use of moisture detection equipment, with responsibility for planning, documenting, and mentoring junior technicians.

The position involves traveling, night and weekend shifts as needed, and ensuring safety and adherence to BELFOR’s procedures.

Qualifications

Must have 12 months of Water Damage Basic experience.
Must have participated in at least 25 water damage projects.
Able to supervise small crews (up to 10 people) on losses.
Familiar with BELFOR Water Damage standards and equipment.
English language literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

Direct teams in the use of the right PPE for the job.
Review daily project requirements, document progress and notify managers of progress and challenges.
Provide field documentation, photographs, charts and sketches for projects.
Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintenance.
Travel nights and weekends may be required.
Attend BELFOR operations and training courses.
