Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to lead wastewater and effluent management programs. The role involves directing technical competencies, shaping strategy, and coordinating across market sectors, groups and operations to meet client needs.

You will mentor technical leaders, oversee risk management, and participate in client management, proposal development and professional organizations. Travel is substantial and location is flexible within HDR's national footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration required.
• Experience leading diverse teams and collaborating across functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Coordinate with related business classes, market sectors, business groups and operations.
• Lead technical risk management through process and resource reviews, providing technical advisory services and claims prevention.
• Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Mentor and direct technical leaders; support client development and project pursuits.
