Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to oversee wastewater treatment and effluent management programs. You will guide technical strategy, build relationships across market sectors, and ensure high-quality project delivery.

You will mentor leaders, manage risk, and coordinate staffing while engaging in business development and industry collaboration. This role supports HDR's employee-owned culture and global projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional registration for technical design leadership roles when core service is technical design.
• Experienced in development and management of diverse teams.
• Works cooperatively with other business class directors and marketing managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Lead and participate in technical risk management and QA processes.
• Oversee assignment of qualified staff and effective use of worksharing.
• Develop strategic plans and provide input to leadership at multiple levels.
• Mentor technical leaders and support client development and project pursuits.
