Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to lead the wastewater treatment and effluent management practice. You will guide technical development, coordinate with market sectors and operations, and ensure high-quality project delivery.

You will mentor leaders, manage risk, drive standards, and represent HDR in professional organizations, with travel up to 50%. Location is flexible across HDR's U.S. footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Professional registration in Architecture/Engineering for technical leadership.
• Experience managing diverse teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Commitment to HDR values and employee ownership culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Coordinate with related business classes, market sectors and operations.
• Lead technical risk management through reviews and advisory services.
• Drive QA/QC and standard/technique development to improve service quality.
• Mentor technical leaders and oversee staff deployment on projects.
