Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to lead the wastewater treatment and effluent management program. The role includes directing technical capabilities, mentoring leaders, and coordinating across market sectors and operations to meet client needs.

You will manage risk, develop strategic plans, and participate in professional organizations to elevate HDR’s practice and client value. Travel is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration is required for leadership roles in technical design.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
• Works cooperatively with other HDR leaders on business class efforts

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Lead risk management and QA processes across HDR projects.
• Oversee staffing, worksharing, and strategic hires within the WTEM business class.
• Mentor technical leaders and coordinate with market sector directors for strategic plans.
• Represent HDR in industry organizations and lead client development efforts
