Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to lead wastewater treatment and effluent management programs. You will guide technical staff, manage risk, develop strategic plans with market sectors, and mentor leaders across HDR.

This role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, at least 10 years of leadership experience, registration, and a commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture. Travel up to 50% and broad collaboration with universities and clients will be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the related field.
• Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration is required for leadership roles with technical design.
• Experience in development and management of diverse teams.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other HDR directors, managers and marketing staff on business-class efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Lead and participate in technical risk management and reviews.
• Drive quality assurance and coordinate with the Quality Manager.
• Oversee development and application of tools, standards, and techniques.
• Mentor technical leaders and manage staff assignments to projects.
• Participate in client management and business development efforts.
